Tia Contemporaries is a creative collective dedicated to fostering connections between artists, designers, and culinary creators through immersive collaborations and experiences. By pairing designers and artists with culinary artists, the initiative transforms collections into sources of inspiration for innovative food art. Focused on celebrating emerging talent, Tia Contemporaries provides a platform for creators to showcase their work in contemporary art spaces, engaging a global audience. Through exclusive, high-concept events, the collective cultivates intimate opportunities for dialogue and community, where creativity thrives at the intersection of art, design, and gastronomy.
Tia Tanna is an accomplished curator and writer specialising in modern and contemporary art. A graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art and Barnard College, she has worked with renowned institutions and galleries such as the Guggenheim, Jeff Koons and Thaddaeus Ropac. She is the co-founder of the Tia Collection, a global art collection with a mission to support artists and museums through its acquisitions, loans and publications. She has collaborated with renowned institutions including the Barbican in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Whitney Museum of Art through donations, loans for retrospectives and exhibitions. Tia is also on the Photography Acquisitions Committee at the Tate.
As co-founder of Tia Contemporaries, she continues to champion innovative dialogues in the art world, merging historical narratives with contemporary practices to inspire and engage diverse audiences.
